AMANDA J. DRISCOLL

WOODLAND GREEN PEDESTRIAN PLAZA

One of two concrete island transformations in this contract, this public project was geared towards reducing large unused expanses of concrete curb islands throughout the city of Philadelphia. The Woodland Green site design featured reclaimed logs and cedar for the raised planters, drought tolerant plantings, tables with umbrellas for sitting with shade and open sidewalk space for safe pedestrian travel.
